Dr. Naima Alvi Al Bawany

Dr. Naima Alvi Al Bawany’s passion for excellence and philanthropy has allowed her to build communities and support countless lives. With a medical background rooted in Pakistan and the UK, she is an aesthetic and restorative dentist with nearly two decades of service.

As a core member of the UAE’s Adopt a Camp program, she has contributed to enhancing the lives of construction laborers. She leads a Dubai chapter of The Citizens Foundation, raising AED 1.5 million annually to educate children below Pakistan’s poverty line, and organized the Ramadan Fridges initiative in Dubai.

In the business sphere, Naima fosters professional growth through her leadership roles in Business Network International (BNI) as a chapter President and Director Consultant.

A champion of Pakistani excellence, she has led community outreach for the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 and currently manages marketing campaigns for Pakistan’s former First Lady, advocating for breast cancer awareness, mental health, and support for people of determination.

Through Yes! Pakistan, Naima works to elevate the brand Pakistan globally, combining her unique blend of professional expertise, philanthropic dedication, and national advocacy.

Maliha Hussain

Maliha Hussain is a seasoned Senior Talent Acquisition Manager at KPMG, where she leads strategic hiring efforts across the Advisory service line, including corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, risk, compliance, and people and organization. With extensive experience in nationalization initiatives at both KPMG and HSBC, she plays a pivotal role in shaping the talent landscape in the UAE, particularly in supporting Emiratization efforts.
Recognized for her approachability and empathy, she is passionate about life and career coaching, having mentored numerous individuals on their career journeys. Whether offering career advice to Emirati professionals or guiding international talent, her influence is far-reaching and impactful.
Her community involvement goes hand-in-hand with her professional expertise. Maliha has been a core member of the Ramadan Sharing Fridges initiative since its inception in 2016, providing food to those in need.
In addition to her local impact, Maliha was a key representative at Expo 2020, actively promoting Pakistan’s Pavilion. Her role in showcasing Pakistan’s culture and innovations to a global audience underscores her commitment to fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.
Maliha dedicates her life to making meaningful impacts on the lives of others. With Yes! Pakistan, she encourages Pakistanis to raise the bar, helping them realize their full potential through sharing and promoting Pakistani excellence.

Saima Asghar

Saima Asghar, a luminary in the learning and development industry since 1998, has mentored thousands of academic professionals and students. As Co-founder of StEPS, an educational and professional development organization, and a Senior Consultant for Global Management Consultants UAE, Saima shapes minds and careers for growth and success. 

Her tenure in teaching spans multiple prestigious institutions, including the University of Warwick, Lahore University of Management Sciences, and Kinnaird College for Women. Saima’s innovative spirit has also led her to establish the Directorate of Faculty Development & Internalization at Lahore College for Women University and introduce Pakistan’s first mandatory university-level Citizenship programme in collaboration with the British Council. She has thus significantly elevated the profile of Asia’s largest women’s university, inspiring students to engage in social entrepreneurship and enhancing the institution’s global reputation.

As an advocate of change for children’s education, she is a core Executive Member of Door of Awareness and Co-founder of Asghar Memorial School, supporting the provision of free education to underprivileged children in Pakistan. As an Honorary External Member of the Institutional Review Board at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital and Research Trust, she contributes to safeguarding the well-being and rights of human research subjects.

A founding team member of Yes! Pakistan, Saima brings her educational expertise and mentorship to a new platform, aiming to showcase Pakistani social, academic, and cultural success on the world stage.
