Emerging Volunteer Networks

HDF has taken a new step towards its sustainability and decided to form local networks in all of its regions where it is operating.  Basically these local networks will act as an advisory unit for HDF and will also help in fund raising at local level.  However the local networks will also be helpful for the following:

  • Develop links with Philanthropists, Government and Non Government organizations to support the HDF program
  • Introduce HDF programs on various platforms
  • Extend moral support to all the HDF programs
  • Develop links with similar networks in Pakistan
  • Help HDF to overcome impediments in the program implementation

In Karachi Kachi Abadi (KKA), one of HDF regions, Dr. Attiya Khan (One of our Board of Directors) took the initiative to form a group/network at Regional level to support HDF programs in this Region. Initially the following resourceful members joined HDF as members of its Regional network of KKA Region.

  • Mr. Anjum Pervaiz: Architecture Engineer & Construction Consultant
  • Mr. Munir Karim: Industrialist
  • Ms. Arfa Raza: Educationist
  • Dr. Pirzada Qasim: Educationist
  • Mr. Fazil Bharucha: Lawyer

The group is expected to expand in near future and more influential/Resourceful persons will be inducted in this group to enhance its efficiency.

HDF has planned to establish such kinds of Regional networks in all of its regions e.g. Mardan, Rahim Yar Khan, Shamsabad and Zhob.

We welcome to all those, who are interested in development work to visit our Program/Offices whenever they visit Pakistan. We’d however, very much appreciate to have your suggestions about our program and about our progress.
