HDF Board of Directors/Network Leadership Meeting
July 25-27, 2003

The Board of Directors Summer Meeting and Annual Network Leadership Meeting for HDF will be held in Schaumburg, IL, at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 800 National Parkway, Schaumburg, IL from Friday, July 25 through Sunday, July 27. Blocks of rooms have been reserved at a special rate of $79.00 per night (plus 12% tax). A preliminary program is enclosed.

This is a very important meeting due to the fact that changing paradigms, in which HDF must operate, pose new challenges and opportunities for the organization. Important decisions regarding evolving partner organization relationships, financial obligations in changing economic times, and innovative fundraising strategies to meet our goals for realizing the mission of HDF need to be taken. Your participation and feedback is essential to plan future strategies and activities.

For hotel reservations, please call 847-605-9222. The special group rate is subject to availability, and is guaranteed only for reservations made before July 7, so please make your reservations early. The Wyndham has a contract with All Star Cab and Shuttle for a special rate of $19.00 from O’Hare International Airport to the hotel, and $42.00 from Midway Airport to the hotel. Please print and complete the "Commitment to Attend Form" and "Registration Form", then fax them back to the Central Office at 847-490-7150 as soon as possible so we can ensure adequate arrangements for everyone. We look forward to seeing you all in Schaumburg.
