Celebration Of 14th August 2002 In SBD Region

14th August was celebrated as a big show in SBD Region by all the Child Friendly Schools. Mr. Nadeem Sheikh (nephew of Mrs. Azra Sheikh, who is one member of HDFNA) was called upon as a chief guest.

Details of the program

The hall was decorated with small Pakistani flags, different Pakistani banners & snaps of Pakistani leaders (Heroes). Each student was provided by one little flag, which was giving a very colorful look.

Each and every student from all schools was anxiously waiting to participate in this program. Different students provide different items like speeches, tabloos and National Songs etc The performance of these students in different items were remarkable.

A musical group named “Mumbania” was selected to perform on this great occasion. They provide a great entertainment to the students and the crowd. Mr. Qadir Bux (Famous Humorist of Sindh) also performed and provided a great fun to the crowd. During his performance every face was smiling, cheering and clapping.

Chief Guest contributed Rs. 10,000 to meet the expenses of the program. From the donation Rs. 6000 was spent to purchase gifts for the students and remaining amount was spent to meet the expenses of the program.

Lunch was arranged for the workers, volunteers, teachers, cameraman, musical group and HDF staff. Sweets were distributed among all the students.
